We also offer a full co-ordination service where we liaise with and manage all suppliers on your behalf. This includes:

  • A dedicated wedding co-ordinator who will manage payments, meet deposit deadlines, arrange to meet with all suppliers, organise a menu tasting etc.
  • Identify and manage a florist for all bridal party and venue arrangements.
  • Co-ordinate all venue and table décor with you.
  • Arrange and manage a photographer and or videographer.
  • Source and manage DJ’s.
  • Arrange the creation of your wedding cake.
  • Co-ordinate hair and make-up specialists.
  • (For this dedicated service we will charge a 20% sourcing and management fee on top of supplier invoices)

 

Important Information

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable in order to secure The Gallery and accompanying facilities and services. The balance is payable 14 days prior to the event.
  • A fully refundable damages deposit of R4500.00 is also payable 14 days prior to the event. In the unlikely event of damages arising from guest negligence which exceeds this amount any additional costs will be for the account of the principal parties hiring the facilities.
  • Further deposit payments may be requested for extraordinary external supplier costs.
  • Payment of the final invoice will be due 7 days after reconciliation and presentation.
  • Venues are available from 8am to 6pm on the day prior to the event for setup .
  • The venue will be available from 8 am to 12 AM (midnight)
    on the day of the event, unless otherwise arranged.
  • Functions where you wish to continue after midnight will carry an additional venue and staff holding cost of R1500 per hour.
    (THE VENUE CLOSES AT 2 AM LATEST)
  • As per general Midlands Wedding Venues agreement, loud music will cease at midnight.
  • You may bring your own caterer’s. We will liaise with them and ensure that they have suitable space in which to work. Caterers must be approved by The Gallery management.
  • Outside suppliers must have cleared all equipment and stock by 12pm on the day following the event. Facilities must be left as they were found.
  • The Gallery management will be responsible for all aspects of the bar and associated facilities.
  • Final numbers must be confirmed by 14 days prior to the wedding date.
  • Corkage charges: Wine and local Sparkling Wines – R50 per bottle. | Champagne – R150 per bottle
  • Alcohol may not be brought onto the property by the bridal party or guests unless arranged in advance with management.
  • Staff gratuities are not included but welcomed for excellent service.
